Dr. Timothy Fries completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and received his Doctor of Optometry in 2004 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He also received his MBA from the University of Illinois and his Masters in Public Health from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Fries completed many external rotations focused on ocular disease and primary eye care. He also is currently an Assistant Professor-Practice at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and serves as the advisor to the Private Practice Club. Dr. Fries is a current Trustee on the Ohio Optometric Association Board of Directors and member of the Paraoptometric Resource Committee for the American Optometric Association. In 2007, he was appointed to the State of Ohio Optical Dispensers Board, where he served a ten-year term as the only optometrist. Dr. Fries also is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association and serves as a VSP Global Ambassador in Ohio.
Dr. Thuy-Lan Nguyen graduated from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Optometry in 2002 with a Doctor of Optometry degree where she then completed a Residency in Primary Care with Emphasis in Cornea and Contact Lenses at in 2003. Dr. Nguyen owned a successful multi-doctor private practice in South Florida before returning to NSU as full-time faculty in August 2015. She is now the Chief of the Cornea and Contact Lens Service and currently holds the rank of Assistant Professor at NSU. Dr. Nguyen is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Society. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, Broward County Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Society. She is also a current VSP Global Ambassador in Florida.
Dr. Geoffrey Reynolds received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Creighton University in 1994 and his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1998 from Southern California College of Optometry. He has been certified with the National Board of Examiners for Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease since 1998. Dr. Reynolds also served as the Chairperson for the Hawaii Optometric Association Annual Convention from 2002-2012 and in 2003 the Hawaii Optometric Association awarded Dr. Reynolds the Young O.D. of the Year Award. In 2013, Dr. Reynolds was named Hawaii Optometric Association Optometrist of the year. Currently, Dr. Reynolds is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and has been in practice since 1998. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor with the Pacific University School of Optometry and the Southern California College of Optometry. He is also currently a VSP Global Ambassador in Hawaii.
